What to expect & How to prepare

What to expect on the day of the event

The artist will arrive approximately 10–15 minutes before your scheduled start time to set up the station.

  • They will bring everything needed for the station — chairs, a suitcase containing all necessary materials (paints, wipes, antibacterial products, etc.), and a catalog of menu options for guests to choose from.

  • For small/private events, the artist may set up a sign-up sheet for guests to write their names. When it’s a guest’s turn, the artist will call their name, allowing guests to enjoy themselves freely instead of waiting in line. This method may not work well at larger venues, where it can be hard for guests to hear when their name is called.

  • For larger events, guests will need to form a line while waiting for their turn. During this time, they can view the design menu and consider their preferred size, placement, and color. This way, when they sit down, they can communicate their choice to the artist and maximize painting time.

How to prepare before we arrive

To help us create the best experience for your guests, please ensure each artist booked has access to a designated setup area of approximately 5 square feet.

  • Indoor events: The space should be well-lit, ideally with ample natural light or bright lamp lighting to allow for detailed work.

  • Outdoor events: Please provide a tent or shaded area that offers adequate protection from sun, rain, and wind to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for both the artist and your guests.
